Towngroove
Towngroove is a set of community applications, including jobs, events, business directory, restaurants and more, with social networking capabilities. Community members create profiles, form organic groups, and use Towngroove as a communications and information platform.
Towngroove can be deployed as a white-label community solution for a specific client such as a regional newspaper, or architected as a partnership with the pillars of a local community, including local government, media, business and non-governmental organizations.
Emergencity
When a community is in crisis, be it a threatening forest fire, rising flood waters or a disruptive urban terrorist attack, community members have a critical need for actionable intelligence - timely information that allows them to make smart decisions about family, pets and property. A well-informed and prepared populace ultimately reduces stress on the agencies and organizations managing emergency response, management and recovery.
Emergencity is a comprehensive, robust suite of hosted services that aggregates and distributes actionable intelligence to the community in which it is deployed.
Emergencity also facilitates local volunteerism, providing a secure online application for the management of community members with skills, experience, certifications and resources in a time of crisis. The Volunteer Management application includes technology infrastructure for new or existing Citizen Corps Councils, encouraging community participation in local chapters of CERT, Fire Corps, Medical Reserve Corps, Volunteers in Police Service and USAonWatch.

The Citizens Corps, CERT, Fire Corps, Medical Reserve Corps, Volunteers in Police Service and USAonWatch have not endorsed or officially supported any Emergencity products. Emergencity does not organize and coordinate any of these programs directly - we work in support of official program coordinators. If Towngroove/Emergencity is not deployed in your community, contact your local chapters directly for information on how to get involved.
